Good evening and belated Happy New Year to everyone!  I wanted to sign on here, since I'm a pianist and composer living north of Boston (between the North Shore and Merrimack Valley).  I also wanted to mention a novel based on the life of the legendary Niccolo Paganini.  PAGANINI'S FIRE, by Ann Abelson, is available on Amazon (digital edition only at fluctuating prices, presently $4.99).  It has a Foreword by Stephanie Chase and was edited by yours truly. 

I have a general question as well.  Can anyone offer some general advice about the ease with which either Finale or Sibelius can pick up score played into the computer from a midi?  I've been told that it works tolerably well for one line at a time, but that when one attempts even a piano score, the notes end up all over the place.  Thanks for any information you can impart.
